RIVERMEN CAPTAINS' BOOSTER CLUB
The Rivermen Captains' Booster Club was established to promote professional and amateur hockey in the Central Illinois area.
Our members enjoy a variety of activities and fundraisers to meet this goal. Our monthly meetings with the players during the Rivermen season, as well as our Adopt-A-Player program, help foster friendship, camaraderie, and support for the team.
Our primary fundraisers are 50/50 raffled drawings at all Rivermen home games and a season ticket raffle. Our philanthropic activities include: twice-yearly blood drives to support the American Red Cross and our recently-established Bowl-A-Thon to Benefit the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate. Our monthly newsletter keeps our membership abreast of our activities.
We invite you and your family to join us any time during the season. Membership is only $25 for a family and $15 for individuals (anyone 18 years of age and older). Stop by our booth behind Section 9 in Carver Arena at any home game to complete your membership form or with questions about the club.

RIVERMEN CAPTAINS' BOOSTER CLUB - ONGOING EVENTS
GAME NIGHT 50/50 RAFFLE SALES
This is one of the biggest efforts of the Rivermen Captains' Booster Club... to raise funds for club activities, requests for team equipment, team gifts and donations for amateur hockey. If you are a member and 18 years and older you can help sell 50/50 tickets. Just stop by the booth, and grab an apron and tickets. They sell for $1 for 1, $2 for 3, $5 for 7. The more sellers we have the larger the pot is to give away.
FIRST-GOAL GAME
Play the "First-Goal Game." It costs $1 per guess to play and you may take part by visiting the Booster Club booth on the main concourse outside Section 17/18. You play by filling out a form with who you think will score the first goal of that night's game. If your name drawn out of the ‘puck’, you will win half of the pot. If there is a tie, those names will be put in and one of those names will be pulled out. Once the money has been awarded, no changes will be made. If the goal should be credited to a different player later in the game, we will not hunt down the original winner and ask them to return the money.
RIVERMEN CAPTAINS' BOOSTER CLUB - HISTORY OF THE CLUB
The Rivermen Captains’ Booster Club was established in 1985 to promote amateur and professional hockey in the Central Illinois area. As our name implies, our main focus of support is the AHL Peoria Rivermen, but we also lend our support to the Peoria Mustangs, the Peoria and Pekin Youth Hockey Associations, and individuals from the Peoria area who take their talent on to higher levels in amateur hockey. If you know of a worthy team or player, who is broadening his or her hockey horizons and needs monetary support, please bring them to the attention of the Board. If money is available from that budgeted each year, they will be considered and brought to the attention of the general membership.
Our ‘headquarters’ is the Booster Club Booth, which can be found in the outer concourse at Carver Arena behind section 17/18 at all Rivermen home games. Information on any activity can be obtained at the Booth. Or just stop by and say hello before the game or between periods.
