JEAN-GUY TRUDEL NAMED HEAD COACH

Peoria Rivermen Hockey Hall of Fame member Jean-Guy Trudel has been selected as the 19th head coach in franchise history. Kevin Tucker, another former player, has been named his assistant.

The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) has announced that its Board of Governors has unanimously approved the Bloomington Blaze and Peoria Rivermen to join the league for the 2013-2014 season.
