Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has recalled forward Adam Cracknell from the Blues’ American
Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen. In a related move, the Rivermen have signed
forward Blair Riley to a
professional tryout contract.
25, joins Peoria from the Las Vegas Wranglers (ECHL) where he has 32 points (14g,
8a) in 49 games. He has also seen action
in four games this year with the San Antonio Rampage between Dec. 29 and Jan.
2. He scored in his first game with the Rampage.
rookie, the 6-foot, 210-pound winger appeared in three games last season with
the Springfield Falcons after completing a four-year career at Ferris State
University. In 147 games at the
collegiate level, Riley accounted for 42 goals and 45 assists for 87 points to
accompany 262 penalty minutes.
25, has played in 54 games for the Rivermen this season notching 21 points
including six goals and 15 assists. The
6’1, 216-pound forward has also made nine appearances for the Blues collecting
one assist including his NHL debut on Dec. 15, 2010 at Detroit.
Prince Albert, Saskatchewan
native was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in the ninth round, 279th
overall, of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He
was signed as a free agent by the Blues on July 23, 2009.
