St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong
announced today the club has re-signed defenseman Nikita Nikitin to a one-year contract extension.
Nikitin, 24, made his National Hockey League (NHL) debut on
November 6, 2010 at Boston and appeared in 41 games overall during his rookie
year with the Blues in 2010-11 recording nine points (goal, eight assists)
including his first career NHL point (assist) on February 4, 2011 against
