The Peoria Rivermen are proud to announce their home game on Saturday, Feb. 15 has been declared “Chicago Blackhawks Night,” featuring Blackhawks-themed giveaways and an appearance from Blackhawks Ambassador and Hockey Hall-of-Famer Tony Esposito.
Esposito, who played parts of 15 seasons between the pipes for Chicago, will be on hand to sign autographs before the game and during intermissions on the Carver Arena concourse. Free color photos will be available at the autograph table, and the Blackhawks’ legend will also drop the ceremonial first puck of the game.
In addition, the night will include a number of Blackhawks-themed giveaway items, beginning with a 2013 Stanley Cup Champions team photo to the first 1,000 fans through the doors. During each period, lucky fans have the opportunity to win pairs of Blackhawks’ tickets to an upcoming game, plus, one lucky fan will be chosen from those in attendance to be the grand prize winner, and will take home an autographed Patrick Sharp jersey.
Other Blackhawks’ contests and video messaging will run in the arena and on the video board throughout the course of the game.
