Peoria Rivermen head coach Jean-Guy Trudel announced Tuesday that Peoria native Alec Hagaman (pictured in white) has been signed to a tryout form for the 2014-15 Southern Professional Hockey League season.

Hagaman, 24, finished a four-year career at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls last spring, where he notched eight goals with eight assists in 27 games. Overall, the forward produced 70 points (36g, 34a) in 101 games for the NCAA Div.-III program. Hagaman was also a two-time all-WIAC honorable mention and played each of his four years with defenseman Jeff Burke, who was signed by the Rivermen on June 5.

Prior to his college career, Hagaman played junior hockey for the Peoria Mustangs in 2007-08 before moving up to the Topeka Roadrunners of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). There, the 6’1, 200-pounder collected 97 points (50g, 47a) in 107 games.
