After a five-game road trip, the Peoria Rivermen returned home and beat the Milwaukee Admirals 4-3 on Friday night at Carver Arena. It was their franchise-best seventh consecutive win on home ice and their 20th overall home victory. Julian Talbot scored two goals in the second period to help the Rivermen defeat the first-place Admirals.
For the first time since 1982, the Peoria Blades will take the ice on Friday, April 3 as part of History of Hockey Night. The Peoria Rivermen will wear replica jerseys of Peoria’s original professional hockey team to be auctioned off following the game to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Illinois.
