Season series -- This is the sixth of 10 meetings between the Rivermen and the Admirals this season. Peoria has posted a 2-1-1-1 record against Milwaukee this year.
Rivermen – Peoria will look to avenge an 8-1 loss, their worst of the season, in their last trip to the Bradley Center on Jan. 28. Since the loss, the Rivermen have dropped three of four with their only win coming in Oklahoma City last weekend.
The team announced on Monday that Jake Gannon has been signed to a PTO and will begin his third stint with Peoria this season. The Rivermen also signed Slava Trukhno of the Bakersfield Condors and Jared Ross of the Reading Royals to PTO's. Trukhno has tallied 32 points (8g, 24a) in 30 games for Bakersfield this season while Ross has 19 points (5g, 14a) in 38 games with the Royals.
Admirals – Since their big win over Peoria eight days ago, the Admirals have caught fire and recaptured first place in the West Division. Milwaukee enters tonight’s game with a four-game winning streak and a two point lead over the Peoria Rivermen in the standings.
Forwards Linus Klasen and Gabriel Bourque both scored two goals in Milwaukee’s last game on February 5 in a 6-2 win over Grand Rapids.
Who's Hot – All-Star Forward T.J. Hensick has registered a point in seven consecutive games (January 23), including four goals and six assists. Hensick was named World Painting Company Player of the Month for the month of January for his hot streak.
Stat Pack – Nathan Oystrick has scored four goals in addition to four assists in just four games against the Admirals this year.
