Allen and Hensick Among 12 Players Assigned to Peoria

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has assigned Jake Allen, Jay Barriball, Jonathan Cheechoo, Mark Cundari, Cade Fairchild, Kyle Hagel, T.J. Hensick, Anthony Nigro, Anthony Peluso, Brett Ponich, Brett Sterling and Danny Syvret to the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, Peoria Rivermen . The Blues currently have 29 players on their roster.
The Rivermen will open training camp on Monday, Sept. 26 at 1 p.m. at the Owens Center. The Blues will travel to Minnesota to face the Wild on Tuesday, Sept. 27 before returning to St. Louis for their final two preseason games, Thursday, Sept. 29 vs. Colorado and Saturday, Oct. 1 vs. Dallas.
