Ben Bishop stopped all 18 shots on goal en route to his league-leading fifth shutout while Rivermen captain Adam Cracknell scored the game’s lone goal.
Wolves: Chicago last came to Peoria just 11 days ago and captured an overtime win with just 47 seconds left.
More recently, the Wolves fell 4-1 against the Charlotte Checkers on Saturday, Dec. 31 and dropped to fourth place in the Midwest Division and remain one point behind the Rivermen.
Although Eddie Lack has received a majority of the starts for Chicago this season, goaltender Matt Climie started both games last weekend including a 5-3 win over Rockford.
Who's hot: Rivermen goaltender Ben Bishop won three games in three consecutive days last weekend and currently ranks third in the league in save percentage (.930) and seventh in GAA (2.23).
