Blues Sign 2010 Pick Jani Hakanpaa

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has signed their fourth round pick (104th overall) of the 2010 Entry Draft, defenseman Jani Hakanpaa.
Hakanpaa, 20, recorded 12 points including five goals and seven assists in 41 games with the Blues of SM-liiga, Finland’s top professional league. The 6’5, 218-pound native of Kirkkonummi, Finland also dressed in seven games for Team Finland at the 2012 IIHF World Junior Championships posting three points including a goal and two assists.
