Rivermen Set Preseason Dates with Chicago and Rockford

Rivermen General Manager Kevin McDonald has
announced that the Rivermen will play both the Chicago Wolves and Rockford
IceHogs during the 2012 preseason. The
Rivermen will open the preseason at Carver Arena with an exhibition contest
against the Chicago Wolves on Monday, Oct. 1 at 7:05 p.m.
Then on Friday, Oct. 5, they will travel to the Community Center and Ice Arena in Hoffman Estates to face the Wolves at 7 p.m.
The Rivermen will wrap up the preseason schedule the following night, Saturday, Oct. 6, with another contest at Carver Arena when they play host to the Rockford IceHogs at 7:05 p.m.
All tickets to the two games in Peoria, upper and lower bowl, will be available for $10. Full season ticket holders will again receive free tickets this year. Tickets for the preseason game are on sale now exclusively through the Rivermen office located inside the Peoria Civic Center.
Peoria will open the regular season on Oct. 12 in Abbotsford and the home portion of their schedule on Friday, Oct. 19 at 7:05 p.m. against Rockford.
