Rivermen Complete Five-Player Trade with Marksmen

The Peoria Rivermen announced today that the team has completed a five-player trade with the Fayetteville Marksmen, acquiring the SPHL rights to protected defensemen Brandon McMartin and Kyle Thacker, and winger Darren McCormick. Rivermen Release Home Schedule
The Peoria Rivermen, in conjunction with the Southern Professional Hockey League, have announced the dates of the team’s 2018-19 home games today. The Rivermen will open their home slate November 2 at Carver Arena, and include 11 Fridays, 11 Saturdays, five Sundays, and one 10 AM Thursday contest in mid-December. With the exception of December 13, all Peoria’s home games will begin as they did during the 2017-18 season, at 7:15 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and 3:05 PM on Sundays.

The Peoria Rivermen and head coach Jean-Guy Trudel announced the team’s 2018 offseason protected list Wednesday, designating the 13 players from their 2017-18 roster who will be off-limits to Quad City in the Southern Professional Hockey League’s upcoming expansion draft.
