Andrew Mossbrooks

Director of Communications/Broadcasting

Andrew Mossbrooks enters his first season in Peoria as he handles play-by-play duties and all communication facets of the Peoria Rivermen organization.


Born and raised in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, Andrew graduated from Millersville University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and an option in Broadcasting. There, he served as voice of the Millersville Marauders Club Hockey Team across four years, while hosting a weekly radio show for two years at his campus radio station, WIXQ. During his senior year, Andrew completed a broadcasting internship with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in the American Hockey League (AHL), which included his AHL play-by-play debut in April of 2018. He would spend the following year as Director of Communications for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights in the North American Hockey League (NAHL), while also serving as a radio host and media assistant for the Philadelphia Flyers in the National Hockey League (NHL). 


Outside of hockey, Andrew served as the television play-by-play broadcaster for the Philadelphia Wings in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) on PHL17, and has interned for the Lancaster Barntormers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB).
