Rivermen Reveal Specialty Jerseys

Peoria, IL – The Peoria Rivermen are proud to announce their specialty jerseys for the 2021-22 season. Many of these jerseys are callbacks to fan favorites over the years while others invoke some of the more memorable moments in the Rivermen’s 40-year history. All jerseys will be auctioned off following the conclusion of the listed game they are worn. Fans can bid on these jerseys in Section 9 at Carver Arena. The themes and schedule for this year’s specialty jerseys are as follows:

“US Flag” – Saturday, November 6 vs Evansville
“PEANUTS” – Friday and Saturday, November 19-20 vs Huntsville
“84-85 IHL Championship” – Saturday, December 11 vs Knoxville
“Rivermen Camo” – Saturday, December 18 vs Vermilion County
“Turn Back the Clock – Peoria Prancers” – Saturday, January 1 vs Evansville
“40 Years of Rivermen Hockey” – Friday, January 14 vs Vermilion County
“New Year’s Day Tuxedo” – Saturday, January 15 vs Vermilion County
“Kelly Cup Championship” – Saturday, February 19 vs Vermilion County
“Nickelodeon ‘Baby Shark’” – Saturday, February 26 vs Evansville
“Mystery Jersey (TBA)” – Friday, March 4 vs Roanoke
“Chicago Blackhawks” – Saturday, March 5 vs Roanoke
“40 greatest Fan Favorites” – Friday, March 25 vs Evansville
“Discover Peoria” – Saturday, April 2 vs Vermilion County
