PEORIA CIVIC CENTER AUTHORITY AND RIVERMEN EXTEND CURRENT LEASE

PEORIA, IL (January 31, 2024) – The Peoria Civic Center Authority (PCCA) announces the extension of the current license agreement with Peoria Pro Sports, LLC d/b/a/ Peoria Rivermen.
The Peoria Rivermen’s current lease agreement is effective through April 30, 2024 and includes a one-year extension option. The Rivermen have exercised the option to extend the lease through the 2024-25 hockey season and the Peoria Civic Center Authority has agreed to the extension.
Both parties are pleased with the extension as it allows more time to plan for a long-term agreement. Those discussions are ongoing.
